Do y'all tip waitstaff and bartenders at pubs or restaurants? If so, what percentage of the tab? Just curious since I work in a bar/restaurant Please say where you are from. Please feel free to answer if you are from somewhere else than listed above. No need is you are from the US b/c I already know the answer to that.

not bar staff ,but maybe waiters and waitress in a decent restaurant not a fast food place

Am from USA but lived in UK for ten years. For a pub lunch and three beers (for two of us), we left (oops, no Pound Sterling sign) one Pound per person. At the bar, drinks only, we left one Pound to "cover" three people having a few beers. In a nice restaurant, 15% of the bill and at afternoon tea, one Pound per person (under the saucer so it wouldn't be returned to us!).
