Do you think multiculturalism is working in europe or are most countries divided

Do you think multiculturalism is working in europe or are most countries divided?
I feel here in Great Britain we have a big problem and one that is going to get worst as time goes by. All i want is one rule for all,British rule, not special rights for the few! When I say divided I mean by religions,Cultural differences,Lack of or no Integration.

Multiculturalism in Europe? Maybe diversity among Caucasians but I hardly see any minorities in the European media and entertainment industry.

For the major countries in EU yes. Here it is failing a little bit simply because the govt won't help out. I'll give you an example, a problem we are currently having here at the moment. Because we have a lot of Turks here (they make up about 50% of minorities in immigration here)they mainly come here to get jobs etcc. But because most of them do not know German it is incredibly hard for them to live a middle classed life, many of the immigrants here are extremely poor and do not have decent jobs. Now a lot of people are saying just send them back and w/e but the fact is we need them as they are part of German identify and economically we need good relations with Turkey. The solution? I would get the govt to set up language lessons so then at least some of the Turks can get educated and get decent jobs. We also have lots of successful Germans of Turkish decent (e.g born in Germany to Turkish parents or one parent being Turkish/German) these people need to help out the immigrants that come straight from Turkey as it would ease everything over here in terms of language barriers and education. I am speaking as a mixed German (black/white) so I can relate to this. Other countries such as Russia who claim multiculturalism is working are horribly wrong, just look at the goodbye they gave to that Russian player Peter Odemwingie from Lokotive Moscow to West Bromwich. He is Russian born and bred, his father is black. These are just examples of how some countries are failing multiculturalism

I think Europe has woken up to the idea that multiculturalism is definitely not working, because it has been handled carelessly, without any long term vision and because of an exagerated sense of political correctness. You do not need to see the success of Geert Wilders in the Netherlands or to know that there are identical parties in Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, or the racist attacks in Spain or the riots in France to know that this is a continent wide issue.
