Even though there's evidence that gun bans DO NOT work in countries like Great Britain & Australia, there's many politicians who'd like to do just that - people like Pelosi, Schumer, Kennedy, and a host of others. For "BradSchuman" below, I suggest he visit: www.nraila.org. Then type in "Britain's gunlaws" in their search window. They'll give you statistics of crime rates skyrocketing in England & Australia due to the disarming of regular citizens. In England, a homeowner has to try and leave the house if a robber breaks in rather than being able to defend his/her own family & property.

Did you see the Family Guy episode where they showed the Founding Fathers inteneded to mean have a pair of Bear (the animal) arms on display. ANYWAY (I just thought it was funny)...I don't see the day in the near future when they start banning guns. Maybe military issued weapons but I can't see our handguns going the way of the dodo. And while Pelosi is RADICAL she isn't THE voice of the nation.

I disagree that gun control doesn't work. Having been to London on numerous occassions, i can tell you that I've been able to walk the streets passed midnight and feel perfectly safe...even in an area that's suppoed to be bad , like Portobello Road. The only ones there with guns are the police--and even THEY are only armed with "billy-clubs" most of the time.

It's sad it usually you guys who shoot your wives with them.Just to let you know here in the early Americas most people didn't have guns bec. they couldn't afford them and only very few hunted with guns like the upper class who owned property!You couldn't shoot animals on rented property(even you your the renter) it was called pooching ! I don't think everyone needs a gun like those robbers!
